TracPhone V7 Licensing & Authorization Details

Although satellites provide coverage over large geographic areas, including entire continents and ocean regions, individual countries have laws that require prior authorization of satellite services within their borders and territorial waters. KVH and its satellite partners are diligently working to obtain necessary authority for the mini-VSAT Broadband service in any country our customers are likely to visit worldwide.

As a general matter, mini-VSAT Broadband services are available in international waters. However, some countries may condition or restrict the use of min-VSAT services within 125 km of their coastline to protect other radio services using the same frequencies as mini-VSAT Broadband terminals. In addition, some countries have a concern about the use of VoIP telephone services within their territorial waters and ports, and thus such services may be restricted outside U.S. and international waters.

The current status of mini-VSAT Broadband's authority to operate in individual countries is listed below. Check back often or sign up for the automated email update, as this list will continue to grow in the months and years ahead.

NOTE: For details regarding operation in unlicensed countries, please refer to your end user agreement.
