TracNet 100 connects you to MSN® TV service and the Internet via Verizon’s EVDO broadband network. To use this BroadbandAccess™ service, you need to become a Verizon Wireless data customer (even if you are already a Verizon customer for a different service).

Before Verizon Wireless can sign you up for BroadbandAccess service, and before KVH can send you your FREE preactivated EVDO wireless card, you must accept the terms and conditions set by Verizon Wireless. Please read the enclosed Verizon Wireless Customer Information Overview and Customer Agreement in their entirety. Please note: Since these are standard documents used by Verizon Wireless in connection with its various wireless service offerings, they contain certain references to wireless phones and services that do not apply to the data-only service offered for the TracNet 100 product.

Below are some details from these Verizon documents that you should be aware of:

• Your first Verizon Wireless bill will include a $35 service activation fee.


• Your Verizon Wireless bill may include surcharges, taxes, and fees beyond your monthly service access charges. These additional charges are subject to change without notice.


• If you cancel your service before your minimum term is complete, a $175 early termination fee will apply. Your minimum term is either one or two years, depending on your selected service plan. However, if you cancel your service and return the EVDO wireless card to KVH within 15 days of accepting these terms and conditions, you will not be charged the early termination fee.


• Your service agreement starts when you accept the terms and conditions and KVH receives confirmation from Verizon Wireless that your account has been approved. KVH will ship your card at that time.
